2021 Summer Camp Dates
|Team Camp: **ONLY COACHES REGISTER HERE**||6/25 - 6/27||More Info|
Howdy! We are excited to be hosting Team Camp for High School boys June 25-27. Games will be played in Reed Arena and the Cox-McFerrin Center for Aggie Basketball. More details are available below.
**Unfortunately due to the circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, we are unable to host traditional Individual Camps. We look forward to returning to a full summer of camps in 2022**
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
**Housing and meals are NOT provided this summer. Due to this change, teams will be required to book their own accommodations. We apologize for this inconvenience, but due to current COVID-19 restrictions, this was the only way that we could successfully host camp.**
Team Camp Registration: The team registration fee is $700 for your first team. It is $600 for any additional teams. Unlike past years, there is one flat fee per team. Each player does not need to pay. You will create a team name to then share with your players to allow them to join your team during their registration. Or, you can go back in through the “Player Registration” button and add players to your team yourself.
Player Registration: Each player on your team is required to register online. This is a simple process to get basic information, but most importantly, to have their parents complete the liability waiver. Anyone who has not registered online will NOT be allowed to participate.
Deadlines: All payments and rosters must be completed by June 14. We will be unable to add any teams after this deadline.
Adult Chaperone: All teams are required to have at least one adult chaperone (coach), that will be responsible for all campers over the course of the weekend. If this will be someone different than the person that registered the team, please indicate that during registration.
Fees include: Guaranteed 6 games, plus participation in One-Minute Challenge and the camp t-shirt.
Waivers: the Assumption of Risk form is required for each camper. This is completed online at registration.
Buzz Williams Welcome Ceremony: Welcome Ceremony hosted by Coach Buzz Williams will begin at Noon on Friday, June 25 in Reed Arena. The first round of games will immediately follow at 1pm.
Divisions: there are three divisions: Elite, Large School, and Small School/JV. If you have any questions about the breakdown, please don’t hesitate to call. We want to ensure that all teams are slotted in a division with appropriate competition.
Games: Each team is guaranteed five games in the pool play phase of the camp. Seeding will be created for Sunday’s tournament based on the pool play results. Games are 36 min, 18 min halves, with a running clock until the final 2 minutes.
Tournament: The Sunday tournament is seeded based on the pool play results and necessary tiebreakers. The tournament is single elimination.
One-minute Challenge: The one-minute challenge is a unique experience that puts teams in different situations with one minute to go in the game. The challenge is a bracketed event played at night after pool play games are completed. Please be present at the Welcome Ceremony to review the rules. This is an optional part of camp that you will opt in or out of at registration.
Officials: Texas A&M will again team up with Camp Texas who will provide certified officials for each camp contest.
Uniforms: Each team needs a light and dark jersey (reversible preferred) with numbers.
Camp Store: The camp store will be set up in the Lobby of the Cox-McFerrin Center for Aggie Basketball throughout camp and will have snacks and gear available for purchase. In addition, pizza will be available to order earlier in the day to pick up each evening.
Basketballs: Texas A&M will provide game balls for each court. Each team is responsible for bringing their own balls for warm-ups.
Laundry: The Texas A&M Basketball Student Managers will be available to do laundry for a small fee each night during camp. See camp store for prices.
- Team deposit is only refundable within 7 days of initial registration.
- No refunds are given barring extraordinary circumstances such as a catastrophic accident.
Athletic Trainers: Texas A&M will provide athletic trainers who are available to treat any injuries suffered at camp. Trainers will not be available to tape ankles or pass out medication.
Hotels: All available hotels in College Station can be found here: https://visit.cstx.gov/hotels/
COVID-19 Safety: All individuals who are not participating in a game will be required to wear facial coverings inside any Texas A&M facility. All facilities will be sanitized regularly throughout the day, and following all events.
